You need your comeuppance.
I got hit once by a traffic cone, the kid threw it from the second floor of the high school gymnasium and hit me in the head and knocked my glasses off.
I wasn't even looking his way, so it was one of those completely unguarded no warning moments in life you never forget.
Funny thing is, I had hit that very same kid the winter earlier with a snowball, and broke his glasses.
Karma lives.
My glasses were knocked off, and the lens fell out on one side, at first I thought I had blurred vision, until I realized my glasses had been knocked off, then I put on my glasses sans one lens and I KNEW I had blurred vision.
I won't rest until I hear that you somehow got a comeuppance for your cone blow.

Okay, here's the story. We were shooting a Weapons match for a spoof wrestling show. Me and my friend Dave decided to participate and we went shopping the day before for wacky weapons. We ended up with a plunger, a roasting tin, a wooden pig thing, a broom and long-handled dustpan and all other kinds of shit, including a traffic cone that Dave nicked from across the road.
So, during the course of the match, I duly hit him (at his request) with the traffic cone. The ref couldn't count the pin attemot as he was laughing so much.
Anyway, Alex, yes, I got my come-uppance. We had the idea that the match should end up in a van which is then driven away never to be seen again. Dave, ever a helpful chap, grabbed my head and rammed into the van door so hard, I had a headache that many Nurofen were unable to cure. He also managed to fall over while stangling me with a T-shirt and nearly choked me.
I have no desire to turn pro.
Dave does though...

I must admit I forogt the entire purpose of this Thread but considering the subject heading is "Traffic Cones" I'll put my two cents worth in, again.
Hitting people with traffic cones is fun, getting hit with them sucks. But, have you ever tried Putting Cones on your head and playing in traffic? It's fun till your best friend gets creamed by a white Land Rover. yucky.
